TRAI can easily implement this system.

If any one’s phone that cost more than Rs 25,000  and is  stolen then  the police didn’t seem interested in filing an FIR and our cops in duty look not at all interested in this regard. Therefore it is the reality that most of the Mobile Losers have   no hope of recovering their  phones or the information in regard to it.

If there is any  theft of jewelry or even cash of the same amount, it would be taken seriously. But the mobile  phone theft has become so common that no one is doing anything about it.

India should have a system where stolen phones can be blocked or traced . If thieves cannot use or cell phones, there will be less instances of phone theft.

Other countries have systems where stolen or lost phone records are tracked and blocked through the IMEI code. US does it through service providers. In Philippines, the Government blocks the phone directly. TRAI can easily implement this system.

Now a day also there are seen many on line and offline public petition floating in the circle of social media  to sign the  petition to ask for a Stolen Phone Blocking system in India. It’s a simple enough request that TRAI can implement easily. Owners can send an sms request with a specific code to block their stolen phones, preventing thieves from using the phone. In this regard the TELECOM REGULATORY AUTHORITY OF INDIA must listen to the common men as it is enough for us to speak up to reserve that we deserve as a Indian Citizen.
