         UN women’s rights experts issue findings on Burkina Faso, Singapore, Paraguay, Nauru, Israel, Kuwait, Kenya, Oman,  Norway, DPRK, Monaco and Guatemala   GENEVA (20 November 2017) – The UN Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women has published its findings on the following countries which it examined during its 23 October to 17 November in Geneva: Burkina Faso, Singapore, Paraguay, Nauru, Israel, Kuwait, Kenya, Oman, Norway, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Monaco and Guatemala.  The findings cover how the respective State is doing with regard to women’s rights, detailing positive developments, main areas of concern, and recommendations for action.  The finding, officially known as concluding observations ,  can be found here:  http://tbinternet.ohchr.org/_ layouts/treatybodyexternal/ SessionDetails1.aspx? Credit: AIJ A The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) joins its affiliate the Afghan Independent Journalists Association (AIJA) in condemning the suicide attack in Kabul, Afghanistan on Thursday, November 16 that killed a television cameraman and many others. The IFJ demands swift action from the authorities to provide justice to the slain media staff. Husain Nazari, a cameraman in  Rah-e-Farda  TV, was critically wounded in the suicide attack at a political gathering in Kabul on November 16 and succumbed to his injuries at a hospital on November 17. His colleague reporter Taqi Sadid was also injured in the attack and is undergoing treatment. The explosion outside the Qasr-E-Naween Hotel in Kabul claimed the lives of 19 people including eight policemen. The Dae
