Besides the launch and a panel discussion, a special screening of Toba Tek Singh (Directed by Ketan Mehta) was also done. This film is part of Zeal for Peace initiative by 12 film directors of India and Pakistan. Local hospitality support was provided by Aketa. This Indo Pak peace calendar features selected paintings (6 paintings from India and 6 from Pakistan) from schools students (Grade 8 to 12) of India and Pakistan. These Paintings depict an innocent and apolitical horizon of peace. Around 50 people with their family are home less and hopeless and living with their uncertain lives on the streets of Delhi near MB ROAD-OPPOSITE CNG PETROL PUMP -LADO SARAI-SOUTH DELHI-110030 under the open sky with many kids and little girls. Due to a sudden unprecedented demolition order by the Delhi Govt. PWD demolished their houses which were built by them before at least 10 years ago. No body does want to listen them .Our Mp from South Delhi avoided them,Our MLA did the same with our Delhi's CM who offered them 5000 rupees per household and told them to keep quite. YOU SHOULD NOT DO THE SAME AFTER WATCHING IT----COME FORWARD TO SAVE THEM AND SAVE THEIR FAMILY.JAI HIND.

THESE TWO LITTLE GIRLS ARE STUDING IN A SCHOOL OF MALVIYA NAGAR BUT DUE TO AN UNDESIRED AND UNPRECEDENTED DEMPLITION OF THEIR HOUSES ,THEY ARE NOW A DAY UNABLE TO ATTEND THEIR SCHOOL AS THEY AND THEIR FAMILY NOW BOUD TO LIVE IN AN OPEN SKY.OUR MP DID NOT LISTEN THEM ,OUR MLA TOOK NO INTEREST AND THE SAME TREATMENT THEY GET EVEN FROM THE CHIEF MINISTER OF OUR DELHI. LIKE THEM MORE THAN 10 STUDENTS IN THIS JHUGGI ARE BOUND TO SIT ON THE STREET JUST ON THE ROAD-DESPITE THEIR AADHAR CARD AND ALL OTHER REQUIRED ADDRESS PROOF THEY ARE HOME LESS AND HOPE LESS.  LET US DO SOMETHING FOR THEM .THE ADDRESS OF THEM IS --- JHUGGI-NEAR MB ROAD-OPPOSITE CNG PETROL PUMP -LADO SARAI-SOUTH DELHI-110030.
